ROCK HILL - A doctor who fled the country after he was accused of raping a woman at a Rock Hill medical facility, is back the U.S and in police custody, police say.
According to Rock Hill police, 43-year-old Darlington Hart was in located in Nigeria by the federal investigators, who got him back to South Carolina.
Officers were called to Piedmont Medical Center on May 9th, after a 21-year-old woman said she was raped by Dr. Darlington Hart at Cornerstone Medical, located on Constitution Boulevard in Rock Hill.
According to the police report, the woman told officers that she was walking down the hall Monday afternoon when Hart “grabbed her by the left arm, pulling her into his office." The woman told officers that Hart then turned up the radio and said, "I want to [expletive] you." He allegedly pushed her against a chair before pulling her underwear down to her knees and raping her.

The woman reportedly told two employees about the attack and they urged her to go to the emergency room and to notify police.
He was booked in Rock Hill late Thursday police told WBTV after a warrant was issued against Hart for criminal sexual conduct 3rd degree.
Hart is doctor of internal medicine with practices in Rock Hill and a practice on England Street in Charlotte.
