ROCK HILL - A Rock Hill couple is behind bars, their 7-month-old baby in protective custody, after deputies found the child in a home with an active meth lab. Deputies say this is the couple's second arrest for making meth in the past year, the last time they were busted for making meth while she was 6-months pregnant.
According to a York County Sheriff's report, 38-year-old David Manny Henson Jr. and 42-year-old Bobbi Jo Wulf Henson were arrested Tuesday afternoon at 4:23 p.m., charged with making meth and child-abuse related charges.
Deputies, working with the York County Multi-jurisdictional Drug Unit, searched the couple's home on the 300 block of Fox Lair Court and found a 7-month-old baby in the home with an active meth lab, the report states.

Deputies took the "7-month-old child into emergency custody due to the hazardous chemical smell that was inside the [home] from the manufacturing of the methamphetamine." According to the report, there were not only clear signs that meth was being made in the home, "but there was also clear signs of the use of [meth]."
The Department of Social Services was called to the home and escorted the child to Piedmont Medical Center by ambulance to by checked by a doctor, due to the chemical exposure.
According to the Sheriff's office, this isn't the Hensons' first meth-related arrest. The couple was out on bond for a previous charges for manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful conduct towards a child.

In that incident in April 2010, deputies arrested five people during two meth lab busts in York County; one of the labs was near an elementary school, the other was inside the bedroom of Bobbie Jo Wulf who was 6-months pregnant.
According to the York County Sheriff's Office, the first lab was discovered on Museum Road inside a home owned by David Henson, which was less than a mile away from Mt. Gallant Elementary School.
The sheriff's office said another meth lab, which is also connected to Henson, was found the next day on Fox Lair Court, but investigators said this lab was not active.

In that incident, Henson was charged with manufacturing and trafficking meth, and possession of a firearm in that incident. Bobbie Jo Wulf, who was Henson's girlfriend at the time, was been charged with exposing a child to manufacturing meth. Deputies found more than 330 grams of liquid meth, 350 grams of marijuana, various lab equipment, materials, and other chemicals used to make meth.
Early Wednesday morning, a company was called to the home to collect the hazardous materials from the home on Fox Lair Court. Deputies also seized a .45 caliber, black, Hi-Point semi-automatic pistol, 3 cell phones, a laptop computer and materials used in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine.
A third woman who was in the home at the time of the bust was charged with possessing marijuana. 34-year-old Nikkia Shawn Starcher was found with nearly .3 grams of marijuana, the report states.
