ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - A Rock Hill woman was arrested Saturday after police say she attacked her boyfriend with a boxcutter.
Sonya Clarese Thorne, 27, was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, according to the report from the Rock Hill Police Department.
Officers responded to Rockdale Street around 1:30 a.m. in response to a domestic violence call.
Thorne had slashedd her 32-year-old boyfriend's arm several times with a box cutter.
The boyfriend told police that Thorne, who he has a daughter with, became irate arfter looking through his cell phone and accusing him of talking to another woman, according to the report.
Thorne admitted to using the box cutter on her boyfriend when he tried to chase her into the bathroom and she slammed the door on his arm.
Thorne was taken to the Rock Hill City Jail.
